On your first appointment:
We will ask you to fill in a form about your current and past health. You will be introduced to the office and your chiropractor will go over your health concerns and how chiropractic can help you. A physical exam and a spinal thermal scan will be performed.  X-rays will be referred if needed.

On your second appointment:
Clinical findings and x-rays if they were taken will be discussed with you and your first spinal adjustment will be performed.

On your third appointment:
Analysis of your body’s response to chiropractic care and your second spinal adjustment will be performed.

HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE?

Everyone’s spine is unique and their chiropractic care is tailored specifically to their age, condition, individual health and goals. The number of chiropractic adjustments varies depending on each patient, but it ranges from weeks to months. Neglected spines, however, can often experience slower progress. Visits become less as the spine stabilizes.  During the course of your care, reviews will be scheduled to monitor the changes to your body and to make sure you are receiving the maximum possible benefit.

WHAT ARE THE STAGES OF CHIROPRACTIC CARE?

Initial Intensive Care
This is where most patients begin their chiropractic care. Visits may be frequent but depend upon your individual condition. The primary focus is to help manage and relieve your most obvious symptom.

Rehabilitative Care
With your symptoms diminished the objective is to stabilize the spine.  Muscles and soft tissues of the spine are strengthened during this stage of care, helping to avoid a relapse.

Wellness Care
With the maximum restoration of spinal function many patients have their spine checked on a regular basis. This type of preventative care can save time and money by helping little problems from becoming serious.

MAINTENANCE PROGRAM

Muscles and soft tissue of the spine are strengthened during this stage of care, helping to avoid a relapse and prevent little problems becoming serious. Each adjustment builds on the one before. Maintenance ensures your spine’s level of optimal health.

Similar to dental checkups, maintenance care is designed to monitor problem areas in the spine and nervous system, helping the body to correct these problems as they arise.
