Regenerative therapies prompt the body to enact a self-healing response by replacing, engineering, or regenerating human or animal cells, tissues or organs to restore or establish normal function.
Regenerative Therapy and Plasma Therapy are two therapies performed here at Tricoche Integrated Health. Plasma Therapy is a component of blood that contains platelet concentrations above the normal level and includes platelet-related growth factors and plasma-derived fibrinogen. Platelets are the frontline healing response to injuries as they release growth factors for tissue repair. Mesenchymal, on the other hand, are the unspecialized, undifferentiated, immature cells that based on specific stimuli can divide and differentiate into specific types of cells and tissues. These cells can divide and replace the worn-out or damaged tissue to become tissue- or organ-specific cells with specialized functions.
CONDITIONS HEALED WITH REGENERATIVE THERAPY
– Knee Injuries: MCL, ACL, PCL, LCL
– Sprains or Tears
– Hip or Labral Tears
– Shoulder Damage
– Chronic and Lower Back Pain
– Wrist or Elbow Conditions
– Achilles Tendon
– Ankle Pain / Foot Pain
– Plantar Fasciitis
– Brain Injuries
How does Regenerative Therapy work?
Mesenchymal cells are the body’s natural internal repair system. In short, cells seek out the damage in the body and work to regenerate damaged tissue.
Where do the cells come from?
Human umbilical cord cells are collected from hospitals across the US. Only cord tissue cells from healthy mothers and babies are accepted. The mother signs a consent form, donating the umbilical cord tissue to the hospital after the live birth of a healthy baby. The umbilical cord contains one of the most concentrated array of regenerative tissue sources.
Are there any negative side effects or contraindications?
Your comfort, safety, and recovery are our top concern. Because umbilical cord base cells are less mature than other cells, the body’s immune system is unable to recognize them as foreign and therefore, they are not rejected. Of the thousands of umbilical cord regenerative therapy patients there have been no instances of rejection (graft vs. host). In a very small percentage of patients, a minor reaction of flu-like symptoms lasting 24-48 hours may occur. This actually demonstrates the cells’ anti-inflammatory and immune-privilege potential.
Who is a good candidate for Regenerative Therapy?
Candidates are those patients looking for more natural solution to regenerating the body. Your doctor can determine how regenerative therapy can work for you.
What is the average cost?
The cost of regenerative therapy can range widely depending on the individual and their specific goals and needs. While the therapy is currently not covered by health insurance, the average costs are actually much more affordable than you may imagine.
